About Me

Blessings & Welcome to my blog. I am a 34 year old woman who is on a journey to "Live her Best Life and Be Grateful". For a couple years several years ago, I was homeless and I began to live life differently. Having a dollar to get a McDonald's sundae was an incredible treat and having a meal that wasn't like the soup kitchen stuff was like winning the lottery. I found that in being homeless, I was a bit more resourceful than others. It was at that time that I knew I was meant to be a social worker. So now with a little bit more than a year to go, I am over the moon excited to become a social worker. I have begun that journey by volunteering at a homeless drop in center for teens that offers them a warm meal, clothing, and help with housing and jobs. It's pretty amazing the stories I hear and their stories of triumph. In addition to my passion for social work, I love winning STUFF. Free movie tickets, gift cards for restaurants and samples are my passion. If its free, it's for me. I'm glad you've joined me on my journey. Blessings to you.
